This Italian Mahzor seems to the second volume of a lengthier manuscript. Its first complete section begins with the selihah for the Days of Awe and concludes with the zulat for the second Sabbath of Hanukkah. It includes liturgies for Tishah be-Av, Hanukkah, Purim, Pesach, and Shavuot, as well as a Haggadah (182r-). The last leaf contains censors’ signatures: “revisus p[er] me Laurentiu[s] Franguellu[s] 1575; Dominico Irosolom[itano] 1600.” The Aleinu prayer (230v) has been expurgated. The manuscript is not decorated, but on many pages the initials are written in a “chess-board” pattern. At the end a second hand has added “fatto nel 1381” (made in 1381).
