    Berechiah ben Natronai ha-Nakdan (12th-13th century) was a translator and grammarian who lived in Norther France and England. He is most famous for his Mishle shu ‘alim, a series of Aesopian animal fables, many of which are translations from other French and Latin versions as well as other sources. A very popular text, it has appeared in numerous printed editions. This manuscript, incomplete at the beginning and the end, was copied in the 18th century.
