This collection of responsa is divided into two sections, one in Hebrew, the other composed of translations of response, predominantly in Portuguese and some Dutch (33v-35r). The Portuguese section is headed: “Treslado do Pessak dos Señores Hahamim de Veneza”. The last date mentioned in the text is 1680. The text mentions various rabbinic authorities, including Isaac Aboab of Amserdam (d. 1693), Yitshak Bu’eno of Jerusalem, Simhah ben Isaac (Simone) Luzzatto of Venice (d. 1663), and Jacob Sasportaas (approximately 1610-1698), among others. The responsa have been copied in a very fine hand.
