    Author: Simhah Isaac Luzki

This Karaite collection contains two works by the 18th-century Karaite scholar and bibliographer Simhah Isaac Luzki. The first, Sefer Tore zahav ‘im nekudot ha-kesef, (leaves 1-90) concerns the 248 positive, 365 negative, and 7 prophetic commandments arranged in verse in the order of the 620 letters of the decalogue, along with a commentary (Nekudot ha-kesef, leaves 23-90). The second work, Sefer me’irat ‘enayim, consists of two parts: (1) Ner mitzvah (leaves 91-192) has to do with the commandments applicable outside of Palestine; and (2) Ner tsadikim (leaves 193-246) concerns the difference between Karaites and Rabbanites, as well as Karaite scholars and their works. (The abridgement of this latter, titled Orah tsadikim, was first printed in 1830.) The manuscript is in a find hand, in black and violet ink.
