Text of Hayim Vital’s “ ‘Ets Hayim.” It begins with contents (4-5) and introductions (6-8), including that of Moses Zacuto, and concludes with an index titled “Petah Tikvah (254-end).” It also contains marginal glosses by Moses Zacuto, sometimes headed “Ḳol ha-Remez,” as well as by Jacob ben Hayyim Zemah. The decorative title page (3) contains the colophon indicating Samuel David ben Jehiel Ottolengo produced the work in Acqui Terme in 1783. The glosses by Moses Zacuto may be autographs. The manuscript was previously owned by David ben Azriel Fintsi, a student of Moses Zacuto.
