    Hand-painted border Ink and gouache on parchment, benediction sheet + 6 membranes, 17 text columns, 20 lines per column + final panel with the liturgical poem, Asher Henei. 215 × 3358 mm (8.5 × 132.2 in.) Wooden roller, 405 mm (15.9 in.)


    The scroll opens with a benediction sheets that is stitched to its first membrane and decorated in the same style as the rest of the scroll. The text is penned within an arcade decorated with flowers. In the upper part of it are two fish are depicted – symbols of the month of Pisces / Adar when the Purim holiday is celebrated. The text columns in the scroll are enclosed within similar arcades and separated by decorative foliate panels. The spandrels are covered with various plants and figures of animals (a deer, a lion, a bird with a fish in its beak).

    Other scrolls related to it are held in the Israel Museum, Jerusalem (MS. 182/030), Museum of the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw (C-324) and Braunschweigischen Landesmuseum in Braunschweig.
