The book of Joshua, a modern composition in Hebrew, authored by priests and Samaritan sages of the second half of the 19th century to fulfill requests of scholars. A Hebrew version of traditions collected from Samaritan chronicles written in Arabic. After the death of the scribe Taa’or, ‘Aamraam b. Yessaahq the priest completed the copying of the composition.
