Medieval Purim parody with marginal manuscript additions. The work title parodies the biblical prophet Habakuk and the Hebrew word for “bottle.”

The humorous work written in biblical Hebrew tells of a war between B’eri (representing water) and Karmi (representing wine), and how the prophet Bakbuk was sent by God to strengthen the side of Karmi. With the prophet’s help, Karmi emerges victorious.
