The 14th-century Judeo-Persian poet Shahin wrote several epic works on the Bible and Biblical characters. The Musah-namah is his epic cycle on the Pentateuch; this manuscript covers Exodus-Deuteronomy. It includes 35 vivid color illustrations. The manuscript contains the date 1660, but this seems to be the date of the manuscript from which it was copied as the watermark on the paper is dated to 1877.
