The first text is a handsomely executed handbook on circumcision, entitled Sefer Sod Adonai. It contains an ornamental title page as well as a number of detailed miniatures, both color and black-and-white. On the blank verso of the final parchment leaf and continuing on the paper bound in are entries for an anonymous mohel from 1774-96.
