    Hand-painted border Ink on parchment, 5 membranes, 17 text columns, 17 lines per column 225 × 2665 mm (8.9 × 104.9 in.) Wooden roller, 450 mm (17.7 in.)


    The scroll is adorned with columns, decorated with floral motifs and scrolling vines, and placed between the text panels.  A coat of arms appears at the end of the scroll – set within a crowned cartouche, a rooster holds a stalk of wheat in its beak; perhaps the coat of arms of the Luzzatto, Campagnano or the Motta families.
